#OndoDecides2020: Live Updates, Social Media Reactions, Results from governorship election

The 2020 governorship election in Ondo is taking place today, October 10 and has been predicted to be a keenly contested race among the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).

Ondo guber: Early arrival of materials, as voters partially observe COVID-19 protocols (PHOTOS)

Across polling units in Ondo North Senatorial District, there was early arrival of electoral materials as voters trooped out to cast their ballot.Also, the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as well as security operatives are already on ground.

The early morning showers could not deter the voters who adhered partially to the COVID-19 protocols.

In some of the units in Akoko South West and Akoko North East, materials arrived as early as 8:25 am, with enthusiasm seen of the faces of the electorate as they exercised their franchise.

Meanwhile, there was COVID-19 compliance among the voters as regards the use of face mask but physical distance was not observed.
