Dino Melaye wins PDP governorship ticket in Kogi

Dino Melaye is the PDP governorship candidate for Kogi state. The former lawmaker will fly the Party’s flag in the 11th of November, 2023 poll in the state.

The flashy former senator emerge as the winner after he gained more votes in the party primaries held in the state on Sunday.

Melaye appeared to have weathered the storm and challenges posed by the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike after he made it clear he was not in Melaye’s candidacy.

Melaye was a key member of the Atiku Abubakar Presidential campaign and his outburst at the INEC office during collation was one of the highlights of the 2023 Presidential election.
