Nollywood star, Anita Joseph has stated that those who are calling marriage a scam got the plot wrong insisting that the ancient institution is just as relevant today as it has been for centuries.

In recent years, cases of marriages breaking down after a short period have dominated social media, even unions that seem to be going on well and have survived decades have been seen to collapse in recent years.

These recorded failures have led many, especially some members of the younger generation to tag marriage as a scam.
