No relationship, Ini Edo reveals her business with Wade

Nollywood star Ini Edo has cleared the air regarding her contact with Josh Wade.

Recently, the alleged fraudster was arrested in Liberia following his escape from Nigeria after uploading the nudes of Nollywood star, Empress Njamah on social media.

The Wade-Njamah saga took social media by storm in January after the thespian’s nude was released to the public, Njamah later stated that she had been abused mentally and physically by Wade.

She stated that she and the Liberian got into a relationship after her most vulnerable state following the death of her friend Ada Ameh. The actress stated that Wade took advantage of her and made her a prisoner at her own home until she was able to summon courage and escaped.

Wade fled Nigeria and was arrested over the weekend. Following his arrest, lots of revelation has been making the rounds, the Liberian police revealed that he has molested and defrauded over 20 women.

Also, the passport of Ini Edo was discovered in his possession and a video of her having a video call with Wade was also made public which sparked allegations of some form of relationship between the two.

However, the Nollywood star has revealed that Wade pretended to be a movie producer and wanted her to feature in a new movie.

“Just turn on my phone and I’m being bombarded with lots of accusations. I don’t know why people are dragging me into the web of lies.
“Someone messaged me with a foreign number sometime last year, August/September/November. Someone called me and said he wanted to work with me and when I asked how he got my number, he said a colleague gave it to him,” Ini Edo said.
