BREAKING: Wike’s Group Pulls Out of Atiku Campaign, Insist On Ayu's Removal

More woes in PDP as the team of Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike has pulled out of the campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar ahead of the presidential election in 2023.

Infoexpert24 reports that according to information from their stormy meeting in Port Harcourt early morning on Wednesday, members of the team vowed not to partake in Atiku’s campaign activities pending the resignation of the party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.

Wike gets Rivers PDP backing on call for Ayu’s removal

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State has vowed to back the position of its leader, Governor Nyesom Wike, that National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu must resign.

There has been ongoing talks between the governor’s group and the team of the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in a bid to end the crisis rocking the party but it seems to have hit rock bottom.
