According to reports from Germany, Julian Nagelsmann has had constructive discussions with Chelsea and remains eager to assume the manager’s role at the club in the summer.

However, in a surprise move, Frank Lampard has been brought back to Stamford Bridge as the interim manager until the end of the season.

While this offers the club more time to search for a permanent replacement, it also puts them at risk of missing out on prospective candidates like Nagelsmann, who has been linked with other high-profile teams, including Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and Tottenham, since being sacked by Bayern Munich during the recent international break.

However, Sky Germany reports that Chelsea’s initial discussions with Nagelsmann have been ‘positive’ and the 35-year-old sees a move to the Premier League as his ‘next goal’.
