Vincent Kompany Breaks His Silence on Rumored Move to Chelsea as Blues Eye New Manager

Burnley boss and Manchester City legend, Vincent Kompany has responded to rumours that Chelsea is interested in bringing him to Stamford Bridge as their new manager.
Infoexpert24 understands that Kompany has emerged as a shock target for the Blues, who are searching for Graham Potter’s long-term replacement.
But it looks like Chelsea may have moved on, with ex-Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino now the new frontrunner to take over at Stamford Bridge.

The club has gone cold on Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique, but they haven’t made their final decision yet and could still try to poach Kompany from Championship leaders Burnley.
The Belgian manager has certainly won many admirers after guiding Burnley to promotion from the Championship in his first season at Turf Moor.
However, while the Clarets will be playing in the top-flight next season, Burnley are yet to secure their status as champions after taking just two points from their last three games and losing to relegation-battlers QPR on Saturday.

When asked about the speculation linking him with Chelsea following the 2-1 home defeat, Kompany remained coy, saying: “I’ve said I’m not engaging in any of these conversations. I have too much at this moment in time in my head in terms of wanting to win football matches. That’s the only thing I care about.”
Chelsea sacked Potter after a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa on April 1, but the Stamford Bridge hierarchy decided against bringing in an immediate replacement for the former Brighton boss.
The Blues appointed club legend Frank Lampard as caretaker manager until the end of the season, but his return has not had an instant impact, with Chelsea losing their first games under the ex-England midfielder.
Kompany, who won four Premier League titles at Manchester City, has also been linked with Chelsea’s London rivals Tottenham following the sacking of Antonio Conte. It’s anyone’s guess where he’ll end up next, but one thing’s for sure – he’s got a lot of admirers in the footballing world.
