Popular Security Expert And Analyst, Ona Ekhomu Is Dead

Popular Nigeria security expert and analyst, Dr. Ona Ekhomu Is Dead.

Infoexpert24 understands that Ona Ekhomu who is the chairman of Transworld Security Systems died Monday at the age of 56 in Lagos after a brief illness.

It was gathered that his wife told his colleagues in the Association of Industrial Security and Safety Operators of Nigeria (AISSON) about two weeks ago that he contracted COVID-19.

“She notified industry players that Ona Ekhomu had contracted COVID and solicited prayers for her husband.

“But this morning we received the sad news of his passing on Monday night,’ a source told The Nation.

Born in March 1955, Ona Ekhomu was the chairman, Transworld Security Systems and a founding member of the American Society for Industry Security (ASIS) International in Nigeria.

A few years ago, Ona Ekhomu, was awarded the Certified Protection Officer Instructor (CPOI) designation by the Naples, Florida, United States-based International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO).
