Arsenal target, Martin Zubimendi has put an end to rumours linking him with a move away from Real Sociedad.

The 24-year-old midfielder has had a standout season in La Liga, playing an instrumental role in helping Sociedad secure a spot in the Champions League.

Despite being compared to the legendary Sergio Busquets by Barcelona boss Xavi, Zubimendi has maintained his focus on Sociedad, expressing his happiness with the club and his life in Spain.

Speaking to MARCA about his future, Zubimendi stated that he has never expressed a desire to leave Real Sociedad and that he is not considering a move away from the club.

He has repeatedly made his stance clear, and while Arsenal may be looking for a new midfielder, Zubimendi is not interested in leaving.

Arsenal has reportedly made West Ham star Declan Rice their top target this summer, according to the Daily Mail’s Sami Mokbel.

The Hammers are said to be seeking a staggering £120 million for the sale of their prized asset, which could make Zubimendi a more affordable option for the Gunners and Mikel Arteta.

However, it appears that Arsenal will have to look elsewhere for midfield reinforcements, as Zubimendi is not open to a move away from Sociedad.

With his impressive performances this season, it’s no surprise that the Spanish international is committed to staying with the Basque club.

While Arsenal may have missed out on Zubimendi, they will undoubtedly continue their search for top-quality midfielders to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.
