Marriage is scary- Iyanya reveals reasons for remaining single

Popular Nigerian musician, Iyanya has shed light on why he is yet to get married or be in a serious relationship.

The Kukere crooner stressed that he has the wish to settle down at some point, insisting that he has always prayed to God for a beautiful home.

However, Iyanya insists that despite his wishes, he is yet to take the decisive step because he is afraid of marriage.

“To be real here, I pray to God for a beautiful home. It’s not easy because my experiences as a child have made it difficult for me to just settle for anything.

“It’s not that I don’t want to get married or be in a serious relationship, but marriage is scary for me. At the end of the day, you just have to do it, but I don’t stop praying for a beautiful marriage and a beautiful home,” Iyanya said.

Last week, the singer revealed that many of his colleagues are unhappy and depressed but only put up an appearance on social media just to keep the fans engaged.

In 2022, he revealed things took a turn for the worst for him in 2021 when he was unable to get shows, therefore making it hard to earn a living.
