Davido reveals how Soldiers flogged him for putting on a camo (video)
Nigerians soldiers do not take it easy on anybody found misusing their uniform and this is evident as Davido reveals how he was flogged by soldiers for putting on a camo.
The DMW record label boss, Davido in the “Black Box Interview” series with Ebuka. Davido recounted his ugly and terrible experience he had with the Nigerian soldiers.
Davido in the process of recounting his relationship with Burna Boy, he recounted how he was flogged alongside Burna Boy for putting on a soldier camo. He further said, he was in the bid to go and meet the legendary 2face idibia in a hotel in Victoria Island when the incident occurred alongside with Burna boy
He further went to reveal his relationship with Burna Boy, it has been from way back since 2010 when they vibe together. it should not be beefing with him. more so, Davido opined he reached out Wizkid and Burna for a song but they seem indifferent about it.
meanwhile, Davido has just signed the first female artist to his record label DMW. Liya, the new female artist release a song immediately she was signed.
Recall that some years ago, the Nigerian Army released a statement which was sent to all online publications, titled “AN OPEN LETTER TO NIGERIAN CELEBRITIES.” The letter called for Nigerian celebrities “to abstain from the use and abuse of the Nigerian Military camouflage”.
Jesse Jagz, who is known for his love for army fatigues, was put on blast in the statement for smoking marijuana while rocking military clothes. Other artistes that were named & shamed for wearing camouflage were Iyanya, Wizkid, Davido, Tekno Miles & even cute little Chidinma, Angela Okorie, Naira Marley
They have threatened that any celeb & civilian found guilty of rocking the camouflage “will be dealt with severely.” Read the entire letter (dated January 19, 2014) after the cut.
