John Terry Claps Back at Chelsea Fan’s Backroom Team Criticism
Chelsea legend John Terry has hit back at a fan on social media for criticism of his coaching career and suggestion that he shouldn’t join Frank Lampard’s backroom team.
Lampard was recently appointed as Chelsea’s interim manager until the end of the season, marking his return to the club two years after he was sacked from the same role.
There has been speculation regarding who Lampard might appoint to his backroom staff, with journalist Matt Law claiming that Joe Edwards, Ashley Cole, and Chris Jones are set to work with the Englishman until the end of the campaign.

However, this leaves no room for Lampard’s former teammate and captain, Terry. One fan expressed their satisfaction with this situation on Twitter, voicing their opinion on Terry’s coaching career.
“Club legend but Too much golf and not enough coaching experience to warrant inclusion. We’re past the days of barrack-room bombast.”
Terry, who’s made over 700 appearances for the Blues, was quick to hit back and defend his credentials.

“Spent three years at Villa and WON PROMOTION to the Premier League, improved players and individuals year after year.
“Oh and played at the top level under some of the best managers in the game for 17 years.”
His second reply which he hasn’t deleted said: “Also unbelievable news for everyone at Chelsea to have Lamps back I know how this works, Frank has his team and if I went into a job I would have mine.
“I won’t have people talk nonsense. Lamps is the best player in our history and this is just what we needed. Super Frank”.
