Insecurity as Nigerian rapper survives armed rubbery attack

Insecurity in Nigeria has been on the front page of every public discussion in the country.

The country seems to be under siege as numerous kinds of life-threatening security issues spring up every day, from the low-level street gangs or cults to the sophisticated armed rubbery gangs, not leaving out the sadistic terrorists, it seems the safety of citizens is threatened in all directions.

The encounters are deadly and many don’t live to tell the tale, however, Nigerian rapper, Vic O is one of the lucky ones. Recently, the talented star revealed that he suffered an armed robbery attack.

In a post on his social media page, Vic O stated that all his belongings were taken and he was left with nothing by the rubbers.

He further exclaimed that the country and security are in need of urgent and pragmatic attention.

“Damn. I just got robbed. They took almost everything from me. This Naija isn’t safe o,” he wrote.

The rapper however did not say where the attack took place leaving his supporters to speculate where it might been.

Insecurity has had an effect on the entertainment industry, the vibrant nightlife in cities like Lagos and Port Harcourt has seemingly disappeared as many partygoers fear for their life.
