Chelsea Fans Troll Real Madrid Amid Reece James Transfer Talk

Amid rumors that Real Madrid is interested in signing Reece James and Jude Bellingham this summer, Chelsea fans have taken to trolling the La Liga side.

Real Madrid has a history of poaching players from Chelsea, including Thibaut Courtois, Antonio Rudiger, and Eden Hazard, who joined in 2019 for a fee of £88million but has since been plagued by injuries, playing only 73 games and scoring just seven goals.

Fans have jokingly warned Real Madrid of the risks involved in signing a potentially injury-prone Premier League star like James, who has also struggled with regular injuries, missing 18 matches for Chelsea this season, as well as the World Cup.

It has led to fans joking that Real Madrid risk making the same mistake by signing an injury-prone Premier League star.

According to the AS outlet, James and Bellingham are Real Madrid’s top transfer targets.

One supporter said: “Madrid wants a taste of James’ injury record. I thought they’ve learnt from Hazard.”

Another reacted: “Reece James would play like two games, get injured and then not be seen again until 2028.”

A third added: “Hazard all over again.”

James penned a new deal at Stamford Bridge in September, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2028.

The Blues are supposedly ready to offload a number of players at the end of the season to trim a bloated squad, yet the 23-year-old is not one up for sale.
