Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool join Man City in heated transfer battle for Bayern Forward Jamal Musiala

The top English clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City, are closely monitoring the contract situation of Bundesliga prodigy Jamal Musiala, with Bayern Munich yet to finalize a new deal for the highly coveted midfielder.

Musiala, aged 20, has emerged as one of Europe’s most promising talents, showcasing remarkable skills and maturity beyond his years.

His breakthrough into Bayern’s senior squad at just 17 marked a historic moment, establishing him as the youngest-ever Bundesliga debutant for the club.

Since then, the attacking midfielder, who is equally adept on the left wing, has accumulated 144 appearances, contributing 38 goals and 26 assists across all competitions. The youngster’s stellar performances have naturally attracted attention from English powerhouses.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City have all expressed interest in securing Musiala’s services, recognizing his potential as a game-changing asset. While his existing contract extends until 2026, Bayern’s prolonged negotiations for a renewal have hit a roadblock, intensifying speculation about his future.

Musiala, per reports, believes his current salary doesn’t reflect his true value, creating an opportunity for Premier League clubs to present more enticing offers. However, any potential suitors must be prepared to pay a substantial transfer fee to lure the German international away from the Allianz Stadium.

Fabrizio Romano confirms Bayern’s lack of progress on Musiala talks

According to reliable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, there has still been zero progress when it comes to a new contract for Musiala, amid reported interest from the Premier League quartet.

“There is no update so far on a new deal for Jamal Musiala,” Romano told CaughtOffside.

“Bayern are focused on the January window so there is no news on contracts.

“They obviously want to keep Musiala for the long term so as their director Christoph Freund said. I see them negotiating with Musiala in the next months, and we will see how that story develops.”

Premier League clubs are poised to test Bayern’s resolve with a bid for Musiala but it’s likely that a deal will only be possible in the summer.

Previous reports suggest that Musiala is valued at roughly €100m (£87m), but his price tag could increase if he has a good second half of the season.

As contract talks linger, the race to secure Musiala’s signature has intensified, with Premier League giants eagerly eyeing the opportunity to add this Bundesliga sensation to their ranks.
