Anambra Election Results: Deputy Governor, Okeke APC Defeated In His Polling Unit

The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Nkem Okeke’s APC was defeated in his own ward.

Infoexpert24 reports that Okeke recently defected to the All Progressives Congress from the All Progressive Grand Alliance.

Okeke who cast his vote at Umueze Awozu, Enugwu-Ukwu Ward 3, Polling Unit 005 had disclosed that he voted for the candidate of the APC.

The Governorship candidate of his party, Andy Uba was defeated by the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Charles Soludo at the polling unit.

The Governorship candidate of APGA, Soludo had 82 votes to win the unit while Uba of the APC secured 61 votes.
