France and PSG Superstar, Kylian Mbappe has reacted to his compatriot, Christopher Nkunku finally completing his first training session as a Chelsea player on Friday, leaving supporters thrilled.

Having fully recovered from the injury that kept him out of last year’s World Cup, Nkunku is eager to hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge and has earned a place in Mauricio Pochettino’s pre-season tour squad.

Nkunku, a 25-year-old forward showcased his scoring prowess last season, netting an impressive 23 goals in all competitions for RB Leipzig.

Chelsea has a busy schedule ahead, with five games lined up in America over the next three weeks. The club is determined to avoid a repeat of last year’s chaotic tour, which left the squad ill-prepared for a tumultuous season, much to the frustration of then-manager Thomas Tuchel.

Ahead of the tour, Pochettino is still hopeful that the future of several players considered surplus to requirements will be resolved.

On a positive note, Reece James is expected to be fit enough to participate in pre-season activities after undergoing a precautionary knee scan earlier this week.
