What Fans Are Saying As Liverpool Destroy Man United 7-0 At Anfield

Manchester United’s supporters have been venting their anger following their scandalous loss to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
After trailing 1-0 at half-time, courtesy of Cody Gakpo‘s sweet finish on the stroke of the interval, United collapsed in dramatic fashion following the break, conceding three times in the space of just 19 minutes. Darwin Nunez doubled the home side’s lead just two minutes after the restart, ahead of Gakpo getting his second and making it 3-0 three minutes later.
Mohamed Salah, who has tormented United so many times in recent years, got in on the act on 66 minutes, blasting an unstoppable effort past David de Gea.

Nunez then netted his second to make it 5-0 with 15 minutes of normal time left on the clock, planting a firm header beyond De Gea, ahead of Salah getting his second to add a sixth.
Roberto Firmino then came off the bench to add a seventh and complete the scoring.
United, clearly disgruntled and frustrated by the manner of Liverpool’s display, lost their heads as the half progressed. Prior to conceding Gakpo’s opener just before half-time, however, the Reds had created a flurry of good openings and looked the more likely to make the breakthrough.
However, they simply had no answer for Liverpool’s second-half onslaught, meaning they could have absolutely no complaints. United’s supporters, understandably, were furious with the manner of their second-half showing, taking to social media to blast the display.
Below are some of the reactions from Man United fans on social media
This is truly embarrassing. The players heads have gone. 5-0 down against our greatest rivals. A wake up call for Ten Hag and Manutd. #MUFC

🗣️ “There were things that I saw in that second half that were a disgrace and I’ll start with Fernandes because I’ve had enough of him throwing his arms around at his teammates, I’ve had enough of him not running back.”@GNev2 on Bruno.#MUFC || #LIVMUN pic.twitter.com/AaHseGztpj

Tactics are irrelevant today. Individual performances, even basics, were bad from the start. Even when #MUFC absorbed the early assault & got control, they didn’t have the on-the-day quality to turn it into anything. Then it’s a frustration-born psychological collapse…

Mo Salah’s performance against Man United was phenomenal. Congrats on the win, but most importantly on breaking two records, becoming Liverpool’s all-time EPL goal scorer & being the first Liverpool player to ever score “5 times” in a row against Man United. That’s legendary. pic.twitter.com/vzQ0taDlHa
