TROUBLE IN PARADISE As 6 PSG Players Report Kylian Mbappe To President Al-Khelaifi
A war has erupted within Paris Saint-Germain as six of the club’s players reportedly voiced their grievances to President Nasser Al-Khelaifi regarding comments made by Kylian Mbappe in a recent interview.
Mbappe’s remarks have fueled speculation about his potential departure from the club, with the 24-year-old hinting that he may not be able to achieve Champions League success with PSG.
With just one year left on his contract, Mbappe’s future has been a subject of intense speculation. Despite previously indicating that he would remain at PSG until the end of his deal, the club is reluctant to risk losing their star player for nothing, considering the substantial £165 million they paid for him six years ago.

Real Madrid has been linked with a strong interest in the French captain, who has now suggested that he may consider joining a team with a better chance of winning Europe’s premier club competition.
In an interview with France Football, Mbappe stated, “Reasons to believe it [that I could leave]? I’m a competitor, when I play, it’s to win. And no matter who I play with, no matter what shirt I wear, no matter where I play, no matter the year, I’m never satisfied, I just want to win. I’ll never be satisfied. I want to win the Champions League.”
Kylian Mbappealso touched on PSG’s struggles in the Champions League, expressing, “I don’t know what PSG are missing to win the Champions League, it’s not a question for me. You have to talk to the people who make the team, who organize the squad, who build this club. I just try to do my job as well as possible. I was the best player, top scorer for the fifth year in a row in Ligue 1. Sometimes in football you face what is called a glass ceiling. That’s why it’s not a big question for me, it’s for those at the top.”

According to Sky Sports, six players within the PSG squad have now reportedly voiced their discontent to president Al-Khelaifi over Mbappe’s statements.
Notably, two of these players have recently joined the Ligue 1 champions during the summer transfer window.
The emergence of this internal conflict within PSG suggests that Mbappe’s comments have not been well received by his teammates.
They may have been under the impression that they would be playing alongside the prolific forward in the upcoming season or hoped for a resolution to the rift between the player and the club.
This development follows Al-Khelaifi’s earlier remarks, in which he stated that Mbappe was welcome to stay for the current season if he signed a new contract.

Al-Khelaifi emphasized the club’s stance, declaring, “Our position is very clear. If Kylian Mbappe wants to stay – we want him to stay – he needs to sign a new contract. We cannot let the best player in the world right now leave for free. That is impossible.”
The ongoing saga surrounding Mbappe’s future at PSG has now intensified, with tensions running high within the club.
The outcome of this internal conflict will undoubtedly have significant implications for both Mbappe and the direction of PSG, as the club seeks to resolve the situation and secure their star player’s future before the transfer window closes.
