Transfers: Manchester United Agree Personal Terms With Napoli Star

Manchester United are edging closer to securing the services of Napoli star Kim Min-jae, with reports from Italy suggesting that personal terms have been agreed with the defender.

The 26-year-old South Korean international has been the subject of strong interest from Old Trafford, thanks to his impressive performances for Napoli this season.

Despite joining the Italian club just last summer in a £17m deal from Fenerbahce, Min-jae’s consistent displays for Napoli and notable contributions for South Korea in the World Cup have thrust him into the spotlight.

Although Napoli is determined to keep hold of their talented defender, a release clause in Min-jae’s contract renders them powerless in preventing his departure.

During a two-week period in July, the defender can be acquired for around £51m, a figure that Manchester United is reportedly willing to pay, as per Il Mattino’s latest report.

In addition to securing a move to Old Trafford, Min-jae stands to significantly increase his salary compared to his current deal at Napoli.

The potential arrival of Min-jae has raised questions about the future of Harry Maguire at Manchester United, especially with Eric Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe expected to depart the club.
