The G.O of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has sent a condolence message to the family of the late founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B Joshua.

The letter was personally signed by Pastor Adeboye and addressed to the widow of the late prophet, Evelyn, Adeboye expressed confidence that TB Joshua is at the feet of the Lord and urged the family to take consolation from that fact

3. Biafra: Emekesiri Reveals How Nnamdi Kanu, Asari Dokubo Tried To Hijack IPOB
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and ex-militant leader, Asari Dokubo has been accused by the founder of the Customary Government for the Indigenous People of Biafra, Emeka Emekesiri, of trying to hijack the group.

Emekesiri in his statement noted that the IPOB leader and Dokubo tried to hijack the group because the secessionist group was a good product.

He further stated that Kanu and Dokubo are aware of the good ideas he had for IPOB.

Emekesiri revealed how the ex-militant leader went behind him to form a Customary government after ignoring his calls for a meeting.

Nigeria’s Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, has denied having a hand in the arrest and extradition of Nnamdi Kanu

Infoexpert24 recalls that IPOB had threatened to deal with some people who played a role in the arrest of its leader.

The group accuses Chris Ngige, the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano; and Igbo businessman, Emeka Offor, for having a hand in Kanu’s arrest and extradition.

Reacting in a statement on Saturday by his Media Office, Ngige stated that he lacked the time to meddle in security and diplomatic matters.

5. We Are Also Victims Of Bandits, Cattle Rustlers – Miyetti Allah
The Miyyati Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has said that its members are also victims of bandits and cattle rustlers.

Speaking with journalists in Kaduna on Friday, MACBAN Chairman, Alhaji Haruna Usman Tugga, said Fulani herdsmen also suffer from the atrocities of bandits and cattle rustlers, who constantly rustle cows, kidnap herdsmen and kill whenever victims fail to pay a ransom.

He noted that the conflicts in the Atyap Chiefdom of Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State have led to the death of 16 persons, mostly women, and children.

6. Former Jigawa Military Governor, Ibrahim Aliyu, Is Dead
The former military governor of Jigawa State, Brigadier General Ibrahim Aliyu, is dead.
It was gathered that Aliyu died in Kaduna on Friday.

The development was disclosed in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the Governor of Jigawa State, Habibu Nuhu Kila.

“Governor Badaru described the death of General Aliyu as a great loss to the people and government of Jigawa State.”

7. PIB, Electoral Act: Deputy Speaker’s Aide Celebrates ‘Northern Victory’
Aminu Malle, the Chief of Staff to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Idris Wase, has expressed delight over the recent activities in the Green Chambers.

Recall that the House of Representatives recently passed the Petroleum Industry Bill and the Electoral Act.

The bill will boost northern Nigeria’s quest for oil as Section 9 of the bill states that at least 30 percent of the profit generated by the proposed Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) will go to the exploration of oil in ‘frontier basins,’ which are mostly northern states.

8. Zamfara: Yari Speaks On Dumping APC, Advises Bello Matawalle
Former Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari, has dismissed reports that he is planning on dumping the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking to reporters at his Talata Mafara residence, the former chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) said he has no intention of dumping the APC he helped to form.

Yari said that they were eleven governors as at then which initiated the formation of the APC.

9. Bandits’ Leader, Turji, Sacks Villages Over Father’s Arrest
Bandit members loyal to notorious bandit leader in Zamfara State, Taraji, are kidnapping villagers and travelers in Shinkafi Local Government Area.

The criminals are abducting villagers in reaction to a recent arrest of the bandit’s father

It was gathered that the father of the bandit leader was arrested by security agents about two weeks ago and his whereabouts remained unknown.

10. Security Agencies Uncover IPOB’s Plot To Attack Kuje Prison, Free Nnamdi Kanu
Nigerian Security agencies have uncovered plots by members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to attack Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja and free their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Recall that IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu was reportedly rearrested in Kenya and extradited back to Nigeria on the 27th of June, 2021.
