Ten Hag Reveals Important Players To Miss Man City vs Man United Clash

The first Manchester derby this season will unfold in front of football fans this coming Sunday, but how do the teams shape up going into the Man City vs Man United Clash?
Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, has confirmed that Axel Tuanzebe and Brandon Williams will not feature when his team face Manchester City in Sunday’s Premier League derby at Etihad Stadium.
Ten Hag said this during his pre-match press conference on Friday when he held his pre-match press conference at Carrington and was, naturally, quizzed on his selection options for the clash with Pep Guardiola’s unbeaten Blues.
Anthony Martial and his fellow striker Marcus Rashford have recently been sidelined with injury, while Harry Maguire was flagged as a doubt after his time away with England.
United on-loan goalkeeper Martin Dubravka was forced to withdraw from the Slovakia squad during the break.
Ten Hag confirmed Maguire is injured but Martial and Rashford are back in training, and could yet feature in Sunday’s showdown. There are, however, other doubts about the clash with Man City, following a number of players’ exertions with their national teams.
“The situation is the following,” said the boss. “Harry Maguire is injured and I think, for the rest, we have some doubts, with Anthony Martial, but he was training all week with the group. So I am really happy with that situation, he’s performing really well in training and makes a good impression. Marcus Rashford has returned to training, so I’m also happy with that.
“For the rest, maybe I think it’s only the longer-term injuries like Axel Tuanzebe and Brandon Williams. They are not available.”
Man United head to the game after beating Sheriff 2-0 in the UEFA Europa League a few days ago.
