Super Eagles Defender Leon Balogun Alleges That Ghana Qualified For World Cup 2022 With Use Of Black Magic

Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun believes the decision by Ghana, to make a late change of venue before their World Cup play-offs, had to do with the use of black magic.
Infoexpert24 recalls that Ghana made a last-minute switch of venue after the Cape Coast Stadium was deemed unfit for the match in March.
The Black Stars were held in Kumasi by the Super Eagles before Ghana traveled to Abuja to secure one of the tickets to the World Cup after a 1-1 draw at the Moshood Abiola Stadium.
“It is funny because that season, the away goals rule had been scrapped everywhere. I don’t know why they didn’t do it in Africa… I have no clue. Until this day, I don’t understand,” Balogun told The Beautiful Game.

Balogun admitted the first leg against the Black Stars was difficult, but also mentioned the stadium change just days shortly before the encounter.
“You know there was this whole fuss about them changing the stadium at the last minute on Tuesday when they have never lost, and they say whether ‘juju’ may or may not have been involved also or whatever.”
Ghana failed to progress beyond the group stage at the World Cup ongoing in Qatar, following defeats to Uruguay and Portugal. The Black Stars defeated South Korea in their second group game.
