Singer Adekunle Gold Shares His Sickle Cell Story In New Song [Video]

Popular Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold has taken to social media to share touching experiences about his childhood in his new song.

Taking to his Instagram page, the ‘Sinner’ crooner shared a snippet of the music video alongside the lyrics, revealing how he battled with sickle cell.

Adekunle Gold said he doesn’t look like what he has experienced in the past and would never forget the 90s.

According to the father of one, he begged God for mercy at many nights and he is thankful for how he has been able to scale through this crisis. He wrote:

Recall in 2016, Adekunle Gold became an Ambassador for Sickle Cell Aid Foundation(SCAF), an announcement that raised questions at the time. So, this could just be adding up now.
