Lampard Currently has a huge and talented squad no doubt about that, this means some players will have to be benched for others to play. However, the way Lampard is treating Rudiger is Unfair.

Rudiger was one of Lampard regular last season but since the beginning of this season, he has fallen down the pecking order and is now the 5th choice in the Chelsea centerback position.

Rudiger has not played a single minute since the season started and was even ignored in the Carabao cup competition.

Despite not playing any games this season during Germany UEFA nation’s league match against Ukraine, Jociam low selected him and he started the match and played the 90 minutes.

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger feels “sad” and “surprised” about his early-season snub by boss Frank Lampard, according to a report.

Rudiger has not featured for the Blues yet this season, featuring on the bench in the 3-1 win at Brighton. Since then, however, he has not made the squad for his side’s two recent games.

Lampard should think twice before leaving Rudiger out cold and introduce him back to the squad. In my opinion with respect to Christensen and Tomori, only Silva and Zouma are a bit better than Rudiger.
