Rio Ferdinand has blasted Ronaldo and other Man United players following their embarrassing 5-0 defeat at Old Trafford on Sunday against Liverpool.

Ronaldo was unable to help Man United as they went 4-0 down by halftime and were booed off the pitch by their supporters at home.

Mohammed Salah scored his third goal in the second half as Paul Pogba was sent off following a tackle on Naby Keita.

Ferdinand summed Man United’s shocking first-half performance against Liverpool as “men against boys.”

“We are always gonna pose a threat because of the individuals we have…..but we are so easy to play through it’s unreal!”, Ferdinand wrote on Twitter.

The result against Liverpool means Man United is now eight points behind leaders Chelsea in the Premier League table.

Liverpool was sensational. Manchester United was woeful. We knew there was a gulf in class between these teams before the game, but that was brutal watching for United fans. What next for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer? Can he come back from this?
