Police Take Over APC National Secretariat In Abuja

Heavily armed policemen on Monday, took over the surroundings of the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat in Abuja.

Infoexpert24 understands that not less than five Hilux vans belonging to the Police were sighted along with the Blantyre street location of the APC national secretariat, Naija News gathered.

Infoexpert24 cannot confirm the reason for the heavy security presence as at the time of filing this report but there are suggestions that it may be part of efforts to prevent any protest against the continued stay in office of the Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni as the national chairman of the APC caretaker committee.

It will be recalled that there have been diverse opinions within the party following the recent Supreme Court on the Ondo State governorship election as it affects the validity of the Gov. Buni-led Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee CECPC of the party.
