Nigeria celebrity besties’ friendship crashes

The most public clue was when both men unfollowed each other on Instagram, however, after that event, several quite obvious pieces of evidence emerged that all is not well between Davido and the Celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest.

In recent years, it seems both men were inseparable, their friendship was such that it doesn’t take long for new pictures of both of them together to appear on social media.

Chief Priest has on occasion been the first to reveal personal details of Davido’s life and businesses to the public while the musician has made several trips to the bar man’s clubs outside Lagos for several functions.

However, all seems not to be well between the two friends, Cubana Chief Priest did not help promote Davido’s Timeless show on his social media pages, and did not appear at the show, instead, he posted a picture of himself at another party the same time the Timeless show was going on.

Davido on his part did not celebrate the Chief Priest’s birthday which took place recently and he hasn’t made any mention of him in recent weeks.

Not much is known about what caused the rift between both men but Remour suggests that it was due to a disrespectful comment made regarding Davido’s recently deceased son, Ifeanyi.
