Former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan is currently in a meeting over the 2023 presidency.

Anambra: Police declare Stone, 11 others wanted for murder, terrorism
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) on Friday declared 12 persons wanted for different crimes in Anambra State.
The suspects are accused of conspiracy, murder, armed robbery, terrorism, kidnapping, cultism and unlawful possession of firearms.
Others are burglary, malicious damage, and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace in Isu-Aniocha, Awka North Local Government Area.
The names of those wanted include Edward Okoye (aka Stone); Donatus Okeke; Onyemazi Ngini; Onyebuchi Nwekeizu Okoye; Nonso Eboh; Chukwuka Onyibor.
The rest are, Chukwujekwu Anaekeokwu; Chuka Ilodigwe; Chinedu Nwoye Okoye; Nonso Awusionwu Obinna; Cosmos Okonkwo and Chukwujekwu Okoye.
2023 Election: Amaechi, Osinbajo, Tinubu Are Liabilities – Arewa Youths
The Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, AYCF has described the presidential hopefuls like Amaechi, Osinbajo, and Tinubu as a liability.
Infoexpert24reports that Arewa youths have downplayed the chances of Bola Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and Rotimi Amaechi emerging as the Presidential flagbearer of theAll Progressives Congress, APC.
National President of AYCF,Yerima Shettima, said Osinbajo, Tinubu, and Amaechi are liabilities that should not be taken seriously.
According to Shettima, the APC chieftains are unpopular candidates, contrary to some Nigerians’ beliefs.
Shettima said Nigerians were yearning for a new breed of politicians, and not the likes of Osinbajo, Tinubu, and Amaechi.
APC N100m nomination form not in the interest of Nigerians – Group
A civil society organization, Joint Action for Good Governance, has expressed its dismay over the high cost of interest and nomination forms for aspirants seeking elective posts under the All Progressives Congress, saying that such cost was not in the interest of ordinary Nigerians.
The Group made this known in a statement jointly signed by the National Vice Chairman and Secretary, Abdulwaheed Odunuga and Aderibigbe Razaq respectively, on Friday, in Lagos.
The APC had pegged its presidential nomination and expression of interest forms at N100 million, while N50 million was for the governorship aspirants, N20 million for the Senate, N10 million for the House of Representatives, and N2 million for the State House of Assembly, respectively.
According to the statement, they called for the immediate review of the nomination fees for aspirants seeking elective posts under the umbrella of the party.

Buhari orders rescue of hostages with kidnappers
President Muhammed Buhari has given a marching order to Securit Chiefs to rescue unhurt all Nigerians held hostage by terrorists and kidnappers within the shortest possible time.
President Muhammadu Buhari gave the directive at the National Security Council meeting in Abuja.
The meeting was attended by Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Luck Irabor, Chief of Army Staff Lt.-Gen. Farouk Yahaya, Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Oladayo Amoo, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Awwal Gambo, Inspector-General of Police Usman Alkali and National Security Adviser (NSA) Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd).
The NSA, who brief reporters along with the IGP, said the President was particularly saddened by last month’s attack on a Kaduna-bound train by terrorists, who killed eight passengers, injured many and kidnapped scores.
2023: INEC Chairman issues directive to political parties ahead of primaries
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has ordered political parties to submit copies of their membership register to the Commission, 30 days before their primary elections.
INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu said the directive was in compliance with the new Electoral Act 2022.
Yakubu spoke at the second regular quarterly meeting of Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) in Abuja on Thursday, NAN reports.
The INEC boss explained that the new Electoral Act made it mandatory for political parties to submit their registered members to the Commission 30 days before their primaries.
