InfoExpert24Ahead of the upcoming January transfer window, reports suggest that Erik ten Hag remains unwavering in his commitment to revamping Man United squad.
Despite ongoing uncertainties surrounding various recruitment roles within the club, Old Trafford is bracing for yet another significant overhaul in 2024.
This follows a busy summer that witnessed the departure of 14 senior appearances, paving the way for a potential mass exodus in the upcoming transfer windows.
According to Manchester Evening News, United are preparing for another outlay of players across both transfer windows next year, with exits likely to enter double figures.

The club’s readiness to offload several fringe players during the summer was a response to mounting pressure related to Financial Fair Play.
Looking ahead, Ten Hag is poised to continue shaping the squad in the coming year, potentially backed by imminent investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Amid this development, Sofyan Amrabat finds himself in uncertain waters, as his future at the club remains unclear at the culmination of his season-long loan.
Ten Hag’s persistence in securing Amrabat’s signature despite internal reservations has encountered hurdles, particularly with the player’s struggles in adapting to the demands of the Premier League. The possibility of a permanent £17 million deal for Amrabat appears to be diminishing.
The situation surrounding Sergio Reguilon also appears uncertain, with his future at United hinging on the return to fitness of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
Furthermore, contracts of key players like Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Hannibal Mejbri, and Anthony Martial are set to expire next summer, although talks regarding potential extensions, especially for Wan-Bissaka, are reportedly underway.
A slew of players, including Tom Heaton, Jonny Evans, Brandon Williams, and Alvaro Fernandez, faces contract expirations next summer without the possibility of extensions, adding further complexity to United’s impending squad restructuring.
Amidst Ten Hag’s purported quest for a new center-back, uncertainties loom over the defensive positions. Lindelof’s contract situation remains precarious, with speculations swirling around the futures of Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane.
In midfield, the aging profiles of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen, along with Scott McTominay’s previous availability in the summer market, hint at potential departures.
Notably, Donny van de Beek and Jadon Sancho are reportedly available for transfer come January, with United open to the prospect of a loss on the latter, given his rift with Ten Hag.
Mason Greenwood will also return to the conversation next summer. His contract expires in 2025, leaving United with two transfer windows to receive a fee if he has no future in M16.
