Manchester United Sets Price Tags for Sancho And Maguire As 13 Players Set To Leave The Club
Manchester United is reportedly prepared to offload up to 13 players this summer as part of a major squad overhaul at Old Trafford.
The club has set price tags for key players, including Jadon Sancho and Harry Maguire, signaling their willingness to listen to offers.
The ongoing takeover saga, involving potential buyers Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe, has added uncertainty to United’s summer spending plans.
Erik ten Hag aims to strengthen the squad by acquiring a striker, midfielder, and goalkeeper. However, the club’s budget has been impacted by Financial Fair Play restrictions, creating the need to generate funds through player sales.
Reports indicate that United has identified 13 players who could be sold or allowed to leave. Notably, England internationals Sancho and Maguire feature prominently in these discussions.
Maguire could be available for £40 million, while Sancho carries a price tag of £45 million.
Sancho is part of a group of players whom United would consider selling at the right price, which includes Anthony Martial, valued at £25 million.
Maguire falls into a separate category of players for whom United is open to receiving offers, alongside Scott McTominay (£40 million) and Dean Henderson (£20 million).
The report also highlights eight additional players who have been made available for transfer. Zidane Iqbal is the closest to securing a move, with FC Utrecht reportedly interested in a deal worth around £850,000.
Other players potentially on the exit list include Donny van de Beek, Fred, and Anthony Elanga, all valued at £20 million.
Hannibal Mejbri could be sold for £13 million, while Alex Telles has a price tag of £10 million. Eric Bailly, who spent last season on loan, could depart for as little as £2 million.
Brandon Williams is available for £5 million, having struggled to feature in Ten Hag’s plans last season.

Meanwhile, Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe, Ethan Galbraith, and Di’Shon Bernard will leave the club on free transfers when their contracts expire.
Discussions are ongoing regarding a new deal for goalkeeper David de Gea, whose current contract ends this month.
As Manchester United looks to revamp its squad, the departure of several players could provide the necessary funds and opportunities to reshape the team under Ten Hag’s guidance.
