Manchester United Asked To Let 2 Players Go And Sign Chelsea Star
Former England forward, Gabby Agbonlahor, has urged Manchester United to sell two players and bring in Chelsea loanee Joao Felix.
The call comes as United look to bolster their squad ahead of the next season, following a largely successful first season under manager Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag’s arrival from Ajax saw the Red Devils win the League Cup and secure a top-four finish after five trophyless seasons.
As a result, the Dutchman is expected to receive backing from his bosses in the transfer market this summer, with up to 13 players set to leave Old Trafford.

Agbonlahor’s recommendation for United to sign Felix is a notable one. The 21-year-old forward has been on loan at Chelsea from Atletico Madrid this season and has impressed with his performances.
Agbonlahor believes United should ‘scrap’ Antony Martial and Wout Weghorst and has also questioned whether Antony and Jadon Sancho have futures in Manchester.
The former Aston Villa captain says Marcus Rashford has been United’s ‘only threat’ going forward this season and reckons Ten Hag should therefore make a summer move for Portugal forward Felix.

Felix has shown glimpses of his immense potential during his loan spell at Chelsea but as things stand will be returning to Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.
‘I really like what he’s done so far at Chelsea,’ Agbonlahor told Football Insider. ‘I’ve seen a different side to him.
‘At Atletico Madrid, he was playing too deep and wasn’t suited to how they play. At Chelsea, you see him getting on the ball, twisting past players – and he’s got a bit of pace as well. I really like him, but he’s got to be more clinical.
‘I don’t see any reason why Manchester United can’t get him. They need options if they’re back in the Champions League next season.
‘Antony Martial isn’t good enough, nor is Wout Weghorst – scrap them. Antony and [Jadon] Sancho haven’t been great, so you’re talking about Rashford as their only threat.
‘They need help, or it could be an embarrassing time in the Champions League for them. Joao Felix, for me, would be a good signing for them.’
French forward Martial has endured another frustrating season at Manchester United, only starting six Premier League games due to his battles with injury.
Netherlands striker Weghorst, meanwhile, has scored just two goals in 21 appearances for the Red Devils following a January loan move from Burnley.
