Manchester United And Crystal Palace Charged By FA After Mass Brawl During Premier League Clash

Manchester United and Crystal Palace have both been charged by FA following a mass brawl during their Premier League clash on Saturday that eventually resulted in Casemiro being Red carded.
All 20 on-field players were involved in the ruckus, which occurred late on in the second half of the Red Devils’ 2-1 win at Old Trafford.
Man United’s Casemiro appeared to put his hands around Palace midfielder Will Hughes‘ throat during the brawl and was shown a straight red card for his actions.

Both clubs must now pay a fine for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag was critical of the decision to show the midfielder the red card and felt referee Andre Marriner had picked on the Brazilian specifically.
Man United also allegedly failed to ensure its players refrained from violent behaviour.
