Manchester United Already Signed Their Next No 7 After Ronaldo?
Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo currently wears the No 7 shirt at Old Trafford

Premier League giants, Manchester United may have already signed their next No 7 after Cristiano Ronaldo as the Portuguese superstar is expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.

Ronaldo leaving means the club’s iconic No 7 shirt will soon be up for grabs once again. With Jadon Sancho toiling, Alejandro Garnacho may end up being the next occupant of the jersey – with the 18-year-old currently the toast of Old Trafford.

The No 7 shirt means more at Manchester United than any other jersey. It was worn by George Best during his spell at Old Trafford, with tales of the Northern Ireland international still told around the world all these years on.

Eric Cantona became a United legend himself when he donned the jersey, with the France international helping the Red Devils win four Premier League titles upon arriving from Leeds in 1992.

David Beckham came next with Ronaldo then replacing him, with the Portugal international taking the No 7 after his move from Sporting Lisbon 19 years ago.

And Ronaldo wears it these days after taking the digit from Edinson Cavani after his Hollywood homecoming in 2021.
