Man United Plot Last-Minute ‘Two-Player Swap Deal’ To Hijack Arsenal’s Move For Declan Rice
In a surprising turn of events, Manchester United could disrupt Arsenal‘s ambitions of signing Declan Rice by entering into negotiations with West Ham United.
The Hammers, following their triumph in the Europa Conference League have reluctantly acknowledged their inability to retain Rice at the club this summer.
West Ham continues to demand a substantial transfer fee for the talented English midfielder, and Arsenal has emerged as the frontrunner in the race for his signature.

The Gunners have already seen two bids turned down, with the latest offer reaching a potential £90 million.
Speculation suggests that Arsenal’s second bid is in close proximity to West Ham’s valuation, indicating that an agreement may be within reach.
However, Manchester United, sensing an opportunity, reportedly contemplate a player-plus-cash proposal to hijack the deal. According to The Telegraph, Harry Maguire or Scott McTominay could be included in the offer, with West Ham expressing interest in the latter.
United have purportedly made both players available for sale this summer, aiming to generate funds for the pursuit of Erik ten Hag.
Nevertheless, strengthening their midfield options has emerged as a top priority for the Red Devils, as they strive to overtake Arsenal in the race for Rice’s signature.
While Mikel Arteta’s side remains the preferred destination for the West Ham star, with a move to the Emirates viewed as “far more likely,” United’s interest could inadvertently trigger a bidding war, playing into the hands of the Hammers.
West Ham manager David Moyes is an admirer of Maguire, with the England defender having slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
However, concerns linger regarding whether Maguire would be willing to accept a reduction in wages from his current contract with United.

Intriguingly, it appears that players have been engaging in discussions during international duty, attempting to sway each other toward potential transfers.
Luke Shaw, in particular, sparked excitement among United fans when he shared images of himself alongside Harry Kane and Rice, playfully captioning them as a “Carrington tour.”
The United full-back’s social media post led to fans dubbing him “Agent Shaw,” with Shaw himself enjoying the speculation surrounding the trio’s interaction.
