Major Boost For Arsenal As They Reach £52m Saka Deal In Principle

Arsenal has been handed a significant boost as they reportedly reached an agreement in principle to tie down Bukayo Saka to a new contract worth around £52m.

Infoexpert24 reports that the English footballer is set to multiply his salary many times after finalizing a deal worth nearly £200,000 a week.

It will be a huge boost to Arsenal and their supporters if the homegrown star puts pen to paper because despite being only 21 years old, the attacking midfielder is already a key player at Arsenal. Mikel Arteta has shown immense faith in younger players, with Saka one of those to benefit.

He has developed into a bona fide Premier League star since signing his last extension – in July 2020 – which runs until the summer of 2024.

Saka has emerged as the poster boy for a youthful and exciting team that tops the Premier League table after eight matches.

He has scored only one Premier League goal this season but has supplied four assists and his all-round play from a right-sided attacking role has been instrumental in the team’s thrilling attacking performances.

Saka has the versatility to cover at left-back as well as play out wide and has already shown signs of improvement this season.

Last campaign, Saka managed seven assists in the Premier League. This season, Saka has already provided four assists, so he’s well on course to beat last season’s total.
