How Argentina Fans Hijacked, Flooded PSG's Birthday Post To Mbappe With Messi Memes
Kylian Mbappe

Argentina fans show no signs of stopping at trolling Kylian Mbappe as they even went ahead to hijack PSG’s birthday post for him with Lionel Messi memes.

Ever since Argentina win over France in the World Cup final on Sunday (December 18), Mbappe has been ridiculed as a result of his pre-match comments suggesting European football is superior.

Since then Argentine fans are unrelenting in their trolling of Kylian Mbappe

Infoexpert24 recalls that during their post-match celebrations, victorious goalkeeper Emi Martinez asked for “a minute of silence” for him. Martinez was also seen holding a baby doll with Mbappe’s face on during Argentina’s open-top bus parade back in their home country, while fans burned a coffin with a photo of him on.

And even though it was Mbappe’s 24th birthday yesterday (December 20), the trolling didn’t let up. The PSG Twitter account was bombarded with replies about Messi after they tweeted about it.

While Messi is celebrating with his family in his hometown of Rosario, Mbappe has returned to training today ahead of the return of domestic football in France next week.

It will certainly make for interesting viewing when they do reunite in Paris. The pair were civil after Argentina came out on top in the penalty shootout.

But since then Messi has been involved in some of the trolling of Mbappe. He laughed when he was thrown a teenage ninja mutant turtle plush toy, and stood next to Martinez when he was holding the doll.

That’s led to criticism from some fans, with Piers Morgan tweeting: “Why is Messi letting Martinez mock and humiliate Mbappe like this? They’re teammates at PSG, just so weird and graceless.”
