His Excellency, Obong Nsima Ekere Set To Bury Father

The Ekere’s family of Ikot Oboroeyin, Edemeya, Ikot Abasi Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State has announced plans for the funeral of late Sir Gabriel.

Sampson Ekere, an elder statesman, Patriarch of the Ekere’s dynasty and the father of former Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, immediate past Managing Director of NDDC, Obong Nsima Ekere.

The family announced the programme of activities for the final obsequies of Late Sir Gabriel. S Ekere as follows:

Activities with Dates

Opening of mourning house at the palace of the Patriarch at Ikot Oborenyin, Edemaya, Ikot Abasi LGA – 1st September 2021.

Thursday 9th Sept, 2021 (6pm)

Lying in state, Christian Wake and Friends’ Night

Friday 10th Sept, 2021 (4pm)

Funeral Service, Interment and Reception – Saturday 11th Sept, 2021 (10am)

Thanksgiving Service

Sunday 12th Sept, 2021 (10am)

Methodist Church Nigeria, Ikot Oboroenyin, Edemaya, Ikot Abasi LGA, Akwa Ibom State.

Reception follows immediately at his country home.
