Girl Raped & Impregnated By Her Grandfather Dies Of Complications

An 11-year-old girl, who was allegedly raped and impregnated by her grandfather, has died after having an ectopic pregnancy.

According to Nation Thailand, the girl died on Friday, January 15 and the funeral was held at her house in Sahatsakhan district of Kalasin province.

However, the body was taken to Srinagarind Hospital in Khon Kaen for examination. The mother of the girl, said she and the girl’s father divorced five years ago as she acknowledged later that her daughter had been raped by her grandfather. The 33 year-old mother also revealed that she took her daughter to a hospital in December, and a doctor there had confirmed that the girl had an ectopic pregnancy.

The girl vomited both food and medicine while suffering severe pain before she dead on Friday.

The Sahatsakhan police will proceed with the case as evidence have been collected in the girl’s case and they will seek an arrest warrant soon.
