Garnacho Is Devastated After Confirming His Injury Is Worst Than Initially Anticipated, Post Emotional message

Manchester United winger, Alejandro Garnacho has expressed his difficulty in finding the right words to describe how he feels after his scan results revealed that his injury is more severe than originally thought.

The young player was forced to leave the pitch only ten minutes after being substituted during United’s goalless draw against Southampton on Sunday.

Despite leaving Old Trafford on crutches and wearing a protective boot, coach Erik ten Hag initially remained optimistic about Garnacho’s injury.

However, the player confirmed through an Instagram post that he will be unable to participate in United’s upcoming matches against Real Betis and Fulham this month, as well as Argentina’s scheduled games.

‘It is difficult to put into words how I’m feeling right now,’ said Garnacho.

‘Unfortunately I will not be able to help my team and teammates in the upcoming games in what is a very important part of the season for us at Manchester United.

‘I am disappointed to also miss the opportunity to be with my teammates of the Argentinian National Team in what would have been a great and proud moment for me and my family.

‘This is part of football and our profession, however, I am already focused in my recovery.

‘God has taught me to never give up and I will make sure I am back stronger than ever!

After the fixtures, there will be a two-week international break, and Argentina had planned to name Garnacho in  their squad for the friendlies against Panama and Curacao  as he is yet to earn a cap for the country, despite being eligible to play for Spain.
