FT: Manchester City 4-1 Arsenal LIVE Premier League, Latest Score And Goal Updates

Premier League champions Manchester City host leaders Arsenal in what promises to be a huge game. Follow all the live action here
A Premier League title decider for the ages takes place tonight as Mikel Arteta attempts to outdo his old master and guide his plucky young Gunners side to the defeat of Pep Guardiola’s ruthless Manchester City winning machine.
For almost two decades, Arsenal have been either the nearly men or the nowhere men in the title race, in which time City have risen to become the poster boy of European football’s era of monolithic spending and exponential growth.
It is little surprise that Erling Haaland and Co have fought so hard to retain their crown after a slow start to the campaign, with a six-game league winning streak.
The visitors are without William Saliba but Granit Xhaka has recovered from illness, while Guardiola is without the injured Nathan Ake. Follow Man City vs Arsenal LIVE via Infoexpert24 Sport’s matchday blog below,

Man City vs Arsenal: Countdown to kick-off
The Gunners make their way out to the pitch to begin their warm-ups in front of the gently-filling Etihad crowd, followed shortly by City.
KICK-OFF! Man City vs Arsenal
We move!
Manchester City and Arsenal face off in the Premier League, as referee Michael Oliver blows his whistle at the Etihad Stadium.
2 mins: Akanji playing in the left-back for City, with Stones and Dias in central defence off the ball.
Grealish and De Bruyne link up early and the home fans want a penalty… handball shout waved away.
PENALTY APPEAL!
3 mins: Arsenal escape as Ramsdale parries the ball into the box and Partey tangles with De Bruyne…
Free kick given to the Gunners! A good decision. He just got there first.
5 mins: Martinelli and Saka forge Arsenal’s first attack, which Walker clears after the England winger sends a cutback into the six-yard box.
GGGGGOOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!! Man City 1-0 Arsenal

7 mins: DE BRUYNE WITH A GREAT FINISH!
9 mins: That early Man City penalty controversy has been quietened down, at least!
10 mins: A massive test for Arsenal now, City are the ultimate blood-lust team and will fancy a second, third or even fourth unless the visitors get a grip on them and the atmosphere.
Long way to go yet, of course.
12 mins: The Gunners draw a foul through Xhaka off Silva, infuriating the home fans and Guardiola.
A good attempt at trying to calm things down from the away side, currently.
15 mins: Jesus playing practically wide left for Arsenal, matching up with Walker as they sit on the ball in the face of City’s strong press.
Martinelli through the middle against Dias could be a pace mismatch, in theory at least.
That’s if they can get that far, as Gabriel eventually lofts the ball into touch from his owner corner flag as Haaland rushes him.
16 mins: City fans again unhappy with Michael Oliver for awarding Partey a free-kick for dropping in front of Akanji’s run, earning a shove to the ground for his efforts.
Seemed fair from this angle.
20 mins: Good work from Dias to hold off Odegaard’s charge after a loose touch, spinning the Norwegian when facing his own goal as the last man.
Holding sends De Bruyne to the turf but avoids the booking, amid protests.
22 mins: Silva breaks in with a diagonal run from the left wing but bobbles a shot that Ramsdale falls on with ease.
23 mins: Arsenal with a rare chance to loft the ball into the box, although he has to wait for the referee to deal with Gabriel and Haaland getting a bit touchy-feely first.
It goes in deep and Gabriel nods well wide.
25 mins: The Gunners in a threatening spot again as Saka, Odegaard and Zinchenko look sharp.
And yet, it all falls down as Rodri snatches the ball off Martinelli and earns an easy foul.
Simply no killer moment from Arsenal, there. But, a bit better overall.
Man City chance!
26 mins: De Bruyne leads the counter for City, cuts onto his left in the box and fires low… White with a MASSIVE block!
28 mins: Grealish does a great job on Saka, tracking back to end his international teammate’s break.
Man City chance!
29 mins: HOW HAS IT NOT GONE IN!
Haaland weaves his way through two challenges and just fails to control his shot as the ball bobbles up, allowing Ramsdale to save.
De Bruyne is nearly there on the rebound… but Arsenal escape
35 mins: Ederson with a rare misplaced kick upfield and Arsenal fancy a run at City…
The ball is laid off to Partey and he curls an effort wide of the near post.
Man City chance!
36 mins: Grealish is set free by De Bruyne to spark another lightning City break, the winger teeing up Haaland and he takes aim – flashed wide!
That was close.
38 mins: A break in play as Haaland accidentally catches Partey on the head.
Man City chance!
41 mins: Ramsdale gets down low to make a good save from Haaland before kicking the loose ball off the toes of Silva and Gundogan!
43 mins: Best ball of the match from an Arsenal player as Zinchenko swings in a lovely cross from deep, which Dias heads behind as Saka lurks.
Ederson punches the corner clear.
45 mins: The board goes up for two added minutes as De Bruyne lines up a free-kick, Partey having fouled Haaland.
GOA-NO!
45+1 mins: De Bruyne lands the ball on Stones’ head and he plants his effort past Ramsdale… the flag is up, though.
Replays confirm he went way too soon, tried to stop himself, but was always offside.
45+2 mins: VAR lines are out for a definitely-definitely check on Stones’ shoulder versus White’s foot.
GGGGOOOOOAAAAALLLLLL!!!!! Man City 2-0 Arsenal
45+3 mins: IT COUNTS!
STONES HEADS CITY TWO UP!
45+4 mins: Now we have a flare-up by City’s corner flag after White and Dias tangle.
45+5 mins: Dias booked for a little lash-out at White.
HALF-TIME | Leading at the break! 🙌

HALF TIME! Man City 2-0 Arsenal
The hosts are two up after making their pressure pay via VAR in the added-on time!
Man City in total control
Pep Guardiola will not have been happy with a mere one-goal lead at the break but John Stones’ late header was the perfect ending to a near-flawless half by Man City.
Erling Haaland has dropped deep to create space on the counter, which Kevin De Bruyne has made full use of.
Tight at the back, devastating up front… this side looks like champions in waiting.
Another huge test for Arsenal
Now it is the Gunners who must come back from two goals down after being thoroughly schooled in the first period.
Mikel Arteta has to change something, with his tactics failing and players bereft of confidence.
Here come the players!
Second-half kick-off is up next.
Kick-off! Man City 2-0 Arsenal
We’re back underway.
46 mins: No changes for either side at the break, as City get De Bruyne into the box early doors only for a miskick to end their move.
49 mins: Walker does superbly to anticipate Arsenal’s attempted break from a City corner, easily beating the quiet Martinelli to the ball.
52 mins: Nothing massively different about Arsenal since the break, perhaps playing with the midifeld a bit more pushed up.
Martinelli and Jesus are still floating between the central and left-wing positions, to little effect.
Man City chance!
53 mins: Ramsdale turns away Haaland one-on-one with his trailing leg!
GGGGOOOOOAAAALLLLL!!!! Man City 3-0 Arsenal
54 mins: DE BRUYNE!
57 mins: Arsenal cause the biggest worry City have had all night with a scramble from a set piece.
It’s all a bit ‘no you’, ‘no you first’ before eventually Zinchenko shoots. It deflects to Holding, who wins a corner.
59 mins: Some histrionics between Xhaka and Grealish after Arsenal concede a foul at the corner.
The Swiss midfielder letting his frustrations getting the better of him.
60 mins: Martinelli and Xhaka taken off by Arteta for Jorginho and Trossard.
Changes he should have made at the break, really.
Elsewhere in the Premier League
We’re nearing the end of the three earlier kick-offs.
Nottingham Forest are 3-1 up over Brighton in the dying stages at the City Ground after a late Morgan Gibbs-White penalty.
Chelsea have just conceded again to Brentford, Bryan Mbeumo making it 2-0.
And Liverpool lead West Ham 2-1 at London Stadium.
67 mins: The away end makes a valiant attempt at lifting their morale with a chant of “Arsenal we love you”.
It may not be the feeling tonight but, in time, this season will almost certainly be seen as a positive one for the Gunners
70 mins: Gabriel gets up the pitch for Arsenal before Trossard nips into the box.
A clipped ball is well dealt with and Grealish wins a foul.
72 mins: Gundogan comes off for City, bringing Mahrez into the action.
Smith Rowe replaces Odegaard for Arsenal.
75 mins: More frustration from the visitors as Partey lands one on Grealish.
The City winger reacts angrily as Michael Oliver looks to calm it all down.
77 mins: Akanji makes his way forward in attack but only finds Jorginho in the box.
78 mins: City’s ire with Michael Oliver grows yet further as Rodri is punished for a handball.
His arm was pretty near his body but it certainly blocked Saka’s pass in a dangerous place on the pitch.
80 mins: Jorginho furiously trying to organise Arsenal’s mini-wall next to the City wall.
Saka lines it up… pings it over the bar.
81 mins: The utterly brilliant De Bruyne exits the game, for Alvarez.
A small round of applause from the home fan as City old boy Jesus departs for Arsenal, along with Saka. Nelson and Nketiah on.
84 mins: Nketiah into the action as he flashes a cross-shot across the face of goal from the left.
No one there to tap it home.
GGGGOOOOOAAAALLLLL!!!! Man City 3-1 Arsenal
86 mins: HOLDING FIRES HOME!
Trossard does well to keep a corner going and that’s a fine finish from the defender.
87 mins: Foden on for Grealish as City wait this one out.
88 mins: Rodri booked as the home fans try to raise the volume for a smoother ride home.
90 mins: The home fans again make their dislike for the referee known as Partey luckily escapes a second booking for hauling Haaland down off the ball.
Five minutes added on.
90+2 mins: The man of the match, naturally, is named as De Bruyne.
90+4 mins: You know the game is up when Haaland takes his hairband off before full time!
Full, flowing blonde locks on display.
GGGGOOOOOAAAALLLLL!!!! Man City 4-1 Arsenal
90+5 mins: HAALAND!
That change of hairdo does the trick!
FULL TIME! Man City 4-1 Arsenal
Utterly dominant from Man City.
