But according to Canale 8 via Sport Witness, Conte could make a surprise return to the Premier League with a second stint at Cobham. In his first spell at Stamford Bridge, the Italian won the Premier League and FA Cup in two seasons.
After enjoying another successful period in Italy with Inter Milan, Conte returned to England with Tottenham and was dismissed in March last year.
Journalist Massimo Ugolini has now claimed that the 54-year-old’s return would be welcomed back with ‘great enthusiasm’ at Chelsea. “He could even return to Chelsea,” he told Canale 8.
“He would be welcomed back with great enthusiasm. Watch out for Juventus too. In this spending-review phase, it’s not as if they couldn’t afford him.”
