Enner Valencia‘s goals and superlative performance against Qatar took his status to “GOAT” levels as his club Fenerbahce shared a hilarious photoshopped picture featuring Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Enner Valencia definitely grabbed a seat next to football royalty with his World Cup heroics for Ecuador against Qatar on Sunday.
The ex-Everton forward netted a brace inside the first half to put La Tricolor in charge of Group A against the host nation after seeing a goal disallowed for offside just seconds into the match. The 33-year-old rolled in a penalty with aplomb in the 16th minute after he was brought down in the area before powerfully heading home shortly after the half-hour mark.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo on Saturday shared a photo that was dubbed by fans as the photo of the century where they sat for a game of chess on a Louis Vuitton bag ahead of the World Cup.
Fenerbahce shared the photoshopped image with Valencia sitting in the background. In the photo, the striker was spotted holding a coffee and smiling as Messi and Ronaldo stare at the chessboard.

The tweet garnered more than 100,000 ‘likes’ on Twitter and, after some exhaustive digging, we can confirm it is photoshopped.
Infoexpert24 reported that Enner Valencia scored the maiden goal of the 2022 FIFA World Cup however his joy was shortlived as referee Daniel Orsato ruled the goal out for offside.
The former West Ham United and Everton striker took advantage of a dodgy defending by the Qatari defence to head home from close range. The Ecuador skipper who celebrated with his teammates saw his effort ruled out after a VAR review.
