Ronaldo says he is being forced out
Ronaldo is not happy. Asked if he is being forced out, he responds: “Yes, not only the coach but also two or three guys around him at the club.”
“Yes I feel betrayed and I felt that some people don’t want me here, not only this year but last year too.”
Below are some reactions from football fans culled by Infoexpert24 on Twitter:

@PoojaMedia Tweeted: So Ronaldo missed preseason to take care of his ‘sick’ daughter, the club knew about it & still behaved like a small club?
Family over everything mehn. We are with you Ronaldo.
@UTDTrey Tweeted: When you think about it, Ronaldo wasn’t wrong about calling out the Club for not developing facilities and being stagnant, he only messed up when he bashed Ten Hag and shamed Rooney’s looks. All the same him leaving is best for everyone tbh
@kick_in_grass Tweeted: My overriding feeling about this season & Ronaldo is one of sadness. It shouldn’t have turned out this way. Mistakes have been made by Ronaldo, the club and yes Ten Hag. Ronaldo along with Maguire are the most abused players on Twitter which disgusts me. Interview final straw.
@HarrySymeou Tweeted: A departing shot at Man Utd ahead of a January exit? Regardless of what he says, many of the Utd fans I speak to feel let down by him & will be delighted when the Ronaldo cloud is no longer hanging over them.
@Honest_G2_Fan Tweeted: Man United fans are either too stupid to understand what Cristiano said or are too ignorant to accept the truth. If you logically think of it, everything he said makes perfect sense. Over the past 10 years, they haven’t achieved anything significant for huge investments
@Stevo1982mufc Tweeted: I love CR7. He is a United legend. But I really hope he doesn’t throw MUFC under the bus and that he remembers where he grew his routes. Be very disappointed if he talks bad of the club that gave him the platform that helped him reach his glory.
@markgoldbridge Tweeted: It amazes me how many people don’t realise this is Ronaldo’s Goodbye Interview. Fallout with Ten Hag, the shambles the way the club is run, his love for the fans. He knows it’s over and is clearly going out on his terms. It’s over
@MadridPreeti Tweeted:The fact that Cristiano Ronaldo felt more warmth and sympathy from Liverpool fans and The British Royal Family than his own club Manchester United, speaks absolute volumes about that club.
@TheFergusonWay Tweeted: It’s actually ridiculous how Ronaldo can say or do absolutely anything and some of his fans would defend him till the end of the world by justifying his actions.
@chris_sutton73 Tweeted: When Ronaldo returned he thought he was bigger than Manchester United… no player is bigger than the club. A very sad end. He simply isn’t the player he once was and can’t except that. He’s shown once again he isn’t a team player…
@_AsiwajuLerry Tweeted: If Man United let Ronaldo leave when he wanted to, we will not be having these discussions today. But instead you tied him down and lied to him about being a vital part of your project when most of the time he’s been disrespected and left on the bench.
@Buchi_Laba Tweeted: Cristiano Ronaldo is an institution. Bigger than every soul at Manchester United so when the club disrespect him and ran a false PR against him.. He has the right to defend his name and also considering his family was Involved.
– He’s speaking for himself and to the United fans.
@WelBeast Tweeted: Heard Cristiano Ronaldo spilled the beans and he’s now being hated for it. I’ve always liked Ronaldo, just when that lot were starting to create harmony and restore respect within the squad the GOAT comes out to put a stop to that nonsense.
