FA Cup Semi-Final Draw: Date, How To Watch, Fixtures And Ball Numbers

The Emirates FA Cup is gradually building towards its business end with the draw for the semi-finals set to take place on Sunday.
This season’s FA Cup semi-final draw could feature four Premier League sides.
While this famous competition has drawn criticism in recent years for not providing the sort of passion past generations used to thrive off, there’s no doubting the big guns in English football are serious about getting their hands on the old trophy.
Last summer Arsenal beat Chelsea in the final at an empty Wembley to mark a positive finish to what was otherwise a forgettable season. And the likes of Leicester and Everton have set eyes on this competition as the best means of securing silverware this term.
There are just eight teams remaining in the competition, seven of which are in the Premier League, with a number of mouthwatering clashes to be played this weekend.
There are two fixtures that catch the eye in particular, with Premier League runaway-leaders Manchester City – who are still on for the quadruple – travelling to Everton in an fascinating clash.
Manchester United will also take to the road, as they face Brendan Rodger’s Leicester on Sunday evening.
With the draw now approaching, Sportsmail takes you through the all-important details below.
When is the FA Cup draw?
The draw for the FA Cup semi-finals will be held on Sunday, March 21 at half-time of Manchester United’s trip to Leicester.
It will be the last FA Cup draw of the season, with the two eventual semi-final winners going on to face off in the final at Wembley.
With the match kicking off at 5pm, we can expect the draw at roughly 5.45pm, of course depending on how much extra time is given.
How to watch the FA Cup draw
As stated, the FA Cup semi-final draw will take place at half-time of Manchester United’s trip to Leicester.
The match will be broadcast live on both BBC One and BBC iPlayer, where you’ll find the draw.
Who will be in the FA Cup draw?
There are four matches to be played this weekend, which will determine exactly who is in Sunday’s draw.
The weekend will start with the sole non-Premier League outfit Bournemouth taking on Southampton in what could prove to be a closely contested match-up.
Later on, Everton will host Manchester City in Saturday night’s unmissable clash, with veterans Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti going head-to-head.
On Sunday, all the pressure is on Chelsea, who are expected to comfortably breeze past the challenge of Sheffield United.
And finally, Manchester United will travel to Leicester in another scintillating affair.
Of course, it’s only United and Leicester who can guarantee a place in the draw, as their match will not be finished when it’s made.
