EPL: How Arsenal Could Line Up Against Everton Today

Arsenal will be out for revenge tonight when they host Everton for a Premier League clash at the Emirates.

Sean Dyche’s Everton were surprised victors when these two sides met just a few weeks ago but Arsenal have got themselves back to winning ways and will look forward to the chance to avenge that defeat.

The Ghana midfielder recovered from a thigh injury to make the bench against Leicester City, where Jorginho put in another impressive performance from the first whistle.

However, with a rigorous physical test awaiting them this week, Jorginho’s positive run in the first team may come to an end as Partey returns to partner Granit Xhaka.

Arteta played down the chances of Partey starting in his pre-game press conference, but that could very well have just been smoke and mirrors from Gunner’s boss.

With Partey fit again, onlyGabriel JesusandMohamed Elnenyare absent as they recover from knee injuries, although Eddie Nketiah was dropped from the first XI on Saturday due to a reported knock.

In his absence,Gabriel MartinelliandLeandro Trossardboth put in stellar displays, with the former scoring the winner while Trossard’s sublime effort in the first half was disallowed by VAR.

The tight turnaround could tempt Arteta into some full-back alterations, butOleksandr Zinchenko‘s effectiveness in the middle could prove pivotal, soKieran Tierneymay have to accept a spot on the bench again.

However, it is not difficult to envisageTakehiro Tomiyasutaking over right-back duties fromBen White, asGabriel MagalhaesandWilliam Salibaline up in front ofAaron Ramsdaleonce again.

Arsenal possible starting lineup:Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Trossard
