Superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo was seen training with Portugal starting line-up ahead of their quarter-Final encounter with Morocco on Saturday despite not starting the round-of-16 match against Switzerland.

The Portuguese preferred to carry out recovery work, as confirmed by the newspaper ‘Marca’, although he is not injured. Their next opponent will be Morocco, who knocked out Spain, in the quarter-finals.

The Portuguese national side, with Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench,thrashed Switzerland 6-1in their round of 16 match at the World Cup in Qatar.

Fernando Santos’ star, although he did not put in as much effort as his teammates who were in the starting eleven, did the same work in the training session. As per ‘Marca’.
