Chelsea star flys to Italy for medicals immediately after win against Crystal Palace
Napoli were reportedly in advanced negotiations with Chelsea over a loan deal for Tiémoué Bakayoko after submitting a bid, have now apparently reached an agreement over a season-long loan for the midfielder.
The 26-year-old is due to undergo a medical on today ahead of linking up again with manager Rino Gattuso who was in charge during his loan spell with AC Milan.
With a price tag worth £80m Lampard needs to really convince the board, to try make that important move. However it’s more clear to Lampard that he needs to free up funds by selling fridge players.
Chelsea were pushing for an option, or preferably an obligation to buy to be inserted into the deal, but it appears that the Blues have accepted the Serie A side’s bid, and the transfer will be a dry loan with no options or obligations of any kind involved. Chelsea will also pay a part of Bakayoko’s salary, as per Di Marzio
One such player is Bakayoko who is dimmed to fly to Italy to join Napoli. According to transfer guru Romano Fabrizio on tweeter,” Tiemoue Bakayoko will be in Napoli tommorow to undergo medicals,it will be a simple loan, no buy option he’s leaving Chelsea.”

Bakayoko joined Chelsea back in the summer of 2017 from Monaco in a deal worth an estimated £40 million, having shone during his time at the Ligue 1 club.
