Chelsea In Real Danger Of Losing N’Golo Kante – See Reason

Chelsea is in real danger of losing their central midfielder N’Golo Kante as contract renewal talks with the French international have gone “very quiet” according to Fabrizio Romano in a podcast on Saturday.
Infoexpert24 understands that N’Golo Kante‘s contract runs out a the end of this season, and as it stands he will leave on a free contract it seems.
He’s still a vital player for Chelsea, but his injuries have got worse and worse over the years, and he’s already been out for a month this season, which is barely two months old.

The 31-year-old has missed the last six games after picking up a hamstring injury in Chelsea’s 2-2 heated draw against Tottenham Hotspur earlier this season.
This has caused concerns for the Chelsea hierarchy when considering what the best deal to offer Kante is considering the Frenchmen ideally wants to be offered another long-term contract keeping him at the club until his mid to late 30s.

In a way, it might be better to take a clean break and let him go, even if that does make us worse in the short term. Seeing him drop out of the side mid-season has ruined a few campaigns for us now.
There’s still plenty of time left for a deal to be sorted, however, and if Todd Boehly wants to secure him, we’re pretty sure he will be able to make him an offer he can’t refuse.
🚨 Chelsea are in real danger of losing N’Golo Kante, very quiet at the moment and if it continues like this, serious chances he leaves. Graham Potter and the new director will need to discuss together with Todd Boehly to decide. (@FabrizioRomano @QueGolazoPod) #CFC

Kante has previously been linked to the likes of Manchester United and PSG but the question arises if the Frenchmen will be able to continue to play at the highest level without constantly seeing injuries.
