Barcelona Sack Ronald Koeman, Replace Him With Xavi

Barcelona has sacked their coach Ronald Koeman and reportedly replaced with Xavi.
Infoexpert24 reports that the Dutchman was dismissed just hours after Wednesday’s defeat at Rayo Vallecano and replaced with Barcelona legend Xavi.
The loss left Barcelona in ninth place in the La Liga table, having won just four of their opening 10 league games.
Club President, Joan Laporta, informed him of the decision after the defeat against Rayo Vallecano that left the club languishing in 9th position on the league table.

A short statement on the club’s website confirming the development reads: “FC Barcelona has relieved Ronald Koeman of his duties as first-team coach.“The president of the club, Joan Laporta, informed him of the decision after the defeat against Rayo Vallecano.
“Ronald Koeman will say goodbye to the squad on Thursday at the Ciutat Esportiva.
“FC Barcelona wishes to thank him for his service to the Club and wishes him all the best in his professional career.”
